Fresh out of school with a bachelor's degree and a strong suspicion that the best classroom has no walls. This is where the trail miles get written down: the long climbs, the wrong turns, the camp dinners that tasted better than they had any right to.

Hiking and camping go hand in hand for me. The trail gets you somewhere; the campsite is where you get to stay. Every hike here comes straight from the GPS, and every campsite gets an honest rating. Some weekends it's a quick loop before brunch, some it's three nights with everything on my back.
